I’m so excited to share my experience from Wish for a Baby Berlin 2025! Over two incredible days (March 1-2, 2025), I had the privilege of meeting so many intended parents eager to explore their options for building a family—whether through surrogacy, egg/ sperm donation, or other fertility treatments.
One of the biggest worries I heard from attendees was where to do surrogacy, which programme to choose, and which agency to trust. And I get it—this journey can feel overwhelming, with so much information (and misinformation) out there. But that’s exactly why I was so excited to be at this event—to offer something truly unique and important: clarity, honesty, and reassurance from someone who has been through it all first-hand.
Unlike agencies, clinics, or lawyers—who all have their own services to promote—I was there as a Surrogacy Consultant, purely focused on helping people find the best path for them. In fact, I was the only independent Surrogacy Consultant at the entire event! Everyone else was representing an agency, clinic, or legal firm, which means they naturally steer people toward their own services.
But my approach is different. I was there to help people cut through the confusion, understand their options, and feel confident in their decisions—because I know first-hand how important it is to have someone on your side who truly understands.
My own surrogacy journeys taught me how valuable it is to have clear, unbiased guidance. And seeing the relief on people’s faces when I could finally give them that clarity? That’s exactly why I do what I do.
One of the highlights of the event was taking part in the roundtable discussion, “Parents Through Surrogacy – Testimonials.” Sitting alongside other parents who had been through surrogacy, I had the chance to share my own journey—the challenges, the emotional rollercoaster, and of course, the indescribable joy of finally holding my child for the first time.
Hearing others’ stories was so powerful. Every surrogacy journey is unique, but there’s a shared experience we all understand—the hope, the uncertainty, the resilience, and the deep desire to become parents.
The audience was so engaged, and we had some fantastic questions about choosing the right surrogacy programme, working with ethical agencies, and navigating the legal side of things. It was such a privilege to be part of this open and honest conversation.
Events like Wish for a Baby remind me why I started The Surrogacy Father in the first place. There’s so much information out there, but what people really need is honest, clear, and personal guidance from someone who understands.
